Granville Dog Park is Milwaukee's first off-leash dog park. This park offers a variety of terrain to suit each dog's preferences. There are hills covered in grass, open fields to run, woody trails to explore and even a river to splash and play in!
Granville Dog Park is on the Milwaukee County Dog Park permit system. Click here to view rules and regulations.
Park hours are from about 7:00 am until dark (around 8:00 pm), depending on the time of year. In the winter, park hours are considerably shorter.
This park is operated and maintained by Partners in Parks, a 501-c3 non-profit organization. PIP receives no funding from County or State. Funding is provided by membership donations and fund raising efforts. Contributions of any amount are gladly accepted. All donations are tax deductible.
All donations go directly to and are used only for Granville Dog Park.
As of January 2010, Mkilwaukee County has been providing some maintenance of Granville Dog Park. However, still no funding is directed to PIP.
If you enjoy this park and are not a member, please consider becoming one and get involved with helping maintain this park. Your dog will love you even more for it!
